Chinese intereference and US media coverups?
Whats happening
There has been over the last decade or more, a large amount of Chinese influence and intereference campaigns in the US - documented, investigated by the FBI and other departments, and people actually imprisioned (references below).
But for some reason we are now getting articles like this from the Washington Post:
The subtitle is most disturbing:
“Claims that China and overseas propaganda drive Americans to rise up against data centers are based on scant evidence.”
“scant evidence” ? It makes you wonder if the Washington Post getting paid for these articles. With my keyboard and Google Search I managed to find… quite alot. How is it, seasoned reporters cannot?
LA-area mayor acted as an agent for china
To quote lawmakers:
“He has created an elaborate dark money network which allows him to send funds to a series of non-profits, such as the ‘United Community Fund’ and ‘Justice Education Fund,’ that have almost no real footprints.”
And in a letter to Singham they asked quite explicitly for documents whose titles should be enough to say WTF!

“To assist the Committee’s oversight of this matter, we request the following documents and information, covering the time period January 1, 2015, to the present, as soon as possible but no later than June 27, 2025

This was all done in 2025. And there is no clear evidence anything happened from it.

Funding Examples
In the above documents there are numerous examples of quite extremist groups saying themselves they are sponsored by Singham.
The People’s Forum
“For months we’ve been the target of a campaign that alleges our funding comes from ‘dark money’.”
“A few years ago we met Roy Singham, a Marxist comrade who sold his company & donated most of his wealth to non-profits that focus on political education, culture & internationalism”.
“As reported in November 2023 by the Free Beacon: “The source of the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund’s donations to the People’s Forum is likely Neville Roy Singham… [who] is the single individual responsible for the group’s operations.”
“Between 2017 and 2022, the People’s Forum received over $20 million in grants from the GSPF, with $12 million transferred in 2019 alone. As previous reporting has detailed, GSPF appears to function as a dark money clearinghouse, obscuring the identity of donors while facilitating the transfer of substantial sums to American non-profits.”
“In November 2023, a Tax-Exempt Organization Complaint was filed with the IRS against The People’s Forum, alleging that: “De Los Santos and the People’s Forum Inc. have been advocating in support of the U.S. designated foreign terror organization Hamas in its war on Israel and Jews and also advocates for the overthrow of the United States.”
Heres one of the most disturbing quotes from The Peoples Forum:
“When we defeat Israel and the U.S. Empire, we will… know how to dismantle capitalism here in the United States.” – Manolo De Los Santos, Co-Executive Director of the People’s Forum
This is the sort of commentary you will find in Chinas own doctrine called “Unrestricted Warfare”.

The Justice Education Fund
“The Justice and Education Fund (JEF) is an example of another 501(c)(3) organization that received over $20 million through GSPF in just 2019 and 2020 alone. Records indicate a $64,500 grant from JEF to the People’s Forum in 2020. Beyond financial transactions, JEF’s leadership is closely aligned with the Singham Network. JEF’s board includes Manolo De Los Santos and David Sung Mo Chung, both of whom also hold positions as officers at the People’s Forum and have been arrested by NYPD at SID4P-led direct-action events in recent months.”
“Notably, JEF also appears to facilitate the transfer of funds to Singham-linked entities abroad. For example, in 2022, JEF paid NewsClick $2.9 million and Maku Media $2.3 million as independent contractors for the “production of online news programs.”
The United Community Fund
“The United Community Fund (UCF) plays a role similar to that of the JEF within the Singham Network. Notably, in 2019, the UCF received an $8.33 million grant from the JEF.26 Additionally, during the same year, it allocated over $3 million in grants to the People’s Forum and $700,000 to the Tricontinental Institute. This underscores the intricate financial interplay between the People’s Forum, JEF, and UCF”
“The UCF’s personnel roster exhibits significant overlap with individuals and organizations affiliated with Singham. For instance, in 2019, Tings Chak served as a Director and Secretary of the UCF.27 Chak, a Beijing-based researcher, is associated with Dongsheng News, the Tricontinental Institute, and UCF. These three entities were named in an August 2023 letter by Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), urging the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate them for potential violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).28 Finally, Chak’s membership in the IPA’s art and culture working group serves as an example of her association with a recognized SID4P Convenor.”
The Progress Unity Fund
“In contrast to the People’s Forum, the ANSWER Coalition operates under the fiscal sponsorship of the Progress Unity Fund (PUF) rather than being an IRS-registered entity itself.31 As recently as 2019, ANSWER Coalition and PUF shared an address in San Francisco, which also served as a frequent venue for Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) activities, indicating a significant overlap between the three.32 Public tax records reveal that PUF granted ANSWER Coalition approximately $244,000 over the past five years. However, between 2019 and 2020, PUF experienced an unexplained contraction in revenue of over 90%, declining from $1.9 million to $126,000. This suggests a state of operational dormancy from 2022, despite PUF’s continued fiscal sponsorship of ANSWER.”
“The PUF also functions as a fiscal sponsor for an organization known as “Pivot to Peace,” which has ties to the CCP and operates within the United States. In May 2023, Pivot to Peace activist Henry Liang was arrested for FARA violations. According to a Department of Justice press release, Liang was clandestinely working as an operative for the CCP while engaged in activities for Pivot to Peace”
Evidence Enough?
And so on… just this one report has enough “evidence” for a journalist (a proper one) to spend a decade digging through all the underhanded money funnelling going on here. But the Washington Post gives an off-hand “scant evidence”. Why would they do this?
Ok. Lets examine some more evidence of Roy Singham.
Code Pink
His wife runs a foundation called “CODEPINK” and Singham is a co-founder with her.

The interesting paragraphs from this:
Since 2017, Code Pink has received over $1.4 million, representing approximately 25 percent of its total funding, from sources linked to Neville Roy Singham. Singham is a tech executive who married Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans in 2017. The New York Times reported in August 2023 that Singham works closely with the Chinese government media machine and finances propaganda worldwide through nonprofit groups and shell companies.
The timing of this funding coincides with a documented shift in Code Pink’s position on China. Before 2017, Evans made statements such as “We demand China stop brutal repression of their women’s human rights defenders.” But after 2017, Evans has described China as “a defender of the oppressed and a model for economic growth without slavery or war.” In 2020, Code Pink launched its “China Is Not Our Enemy” campaign. The New York Times noted that Code Pink stopped criticizing the Chinese government’s treatment of Uyghur Muslims and began defending it.
Code Pink has publicly described Uyghurs as “terrorists” and its activists have met with the House Select Committee on China to advocate against evidence of forced labor in Xinjiang. The organization operates alongside The People’s Forum, which has received over $20.4 million from Singham and offers courses titled “Lenin and the Path to Revolution” and “China75 - When the People Stand Up.” The People’s Forum Executive Director has appeared on CGTN, a Chinese state-owned media outlet that the Department of Justice directed to register under FARA in 2019.
Beyond FARA concerns, Code Pink has partnered with and advocated for individuals and organizations such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), which calls into question whether it has provided material support for to designated FTOs. In January 2023, Code Pink partnered with Samidoun, an organization designated as a front for the PFLP. Alongside Samidoun, Code Pink organized a campaign calling for the release of Ahmad Sa’adat, a PFLP Secretary-General who was convicted and sentenced to 30 years for leading a terrorist organization responsible for multiple attacks against Iraeli military and civilians. These activities raise serious questions about whether Code Pink has provided material support to designated FTOs.
Code Pink.. is clearly a CCP propaganda machine. I could post alot more here about this company. I will leave some links instead. This is one of many companies pushing narratives in the US for purposes of disruption.

You would think in 2023 when this investigation from the New York Times was published, that there might be clear alarm bells being activated and journalists starting to dig much wider (this is not just Singham btw) wouldnt you?
A Global Web of Chinese Propaganda Leads to a US Tech Mogul
The article, has some wonderful paragraphs:
“But Mr. Singham, 69, himself sits in Shanghai, where one outlet in his network is co-producing a YouTube show financed in part by the city’s propaganda department. Two others are working with a Chinese university to “spread China’s voice to the world.” And last month, Mr. Singham joined a Communist Party workshop about promoting the party internationally.”

“Mr. Singham’s groups have produced YouTube videos that, together, racked up millions of views. They also seek to influence real-world politics by meeting with congressional aides, training politicians in Africa, running candidates in South African elections and organizing protests like the one in London that erupted into violence.”
or
“None of Mr. Singham’s nonprofits have registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, as is required of groups that seek to influence public opinion on behalf of foreign powers. That usually applies to groups taking money or orders from foreign governments. Legal experts said Mr. Singham’s network was an unusual case.”
Can someone explain, how the Washington Post says “scant evidence” in 2026 and the NYT says “The Times unraveled a financial network that stretches from Chicago to Shanghai and uses American nonprofits to push Chinese talking points worldwide.”
What is going on?
Bigger than Ben Hur
The influence and interference in the US goes much much deeper though. And Singham represents a tiny fraction of the types of operations the Chinese are already applying to the US citizens. If you read and understand “Unrestricted Warfare” you know that China has been at war with the US for almost 20 yrs already.
Dont beleive me (most dont). Then lets look at some evidence. I’ll start with recent and work backwards from that.
Chinese Labs on US soil
Chinese biolabs have been found in a number of sites in the US:

This is 2023, but the reports findings are disturbing.
Here’s what the Committee found:
The illegal biolab was run by a PRC citizen who is a wanted fugitive from Canada with a $330 million Canadian dollar judgment against him for stealing American intellectual property. This PRC citizen was a top official at a PRC-state-controlled company and had links to military-civil fusion entities. The illegal biolab received millions of dollars in unexplained payments from PRC banks while running the illegal biolab. The illegal biolab contained thousands of samples of labeled, unlabeled, and encoded potential pathogens, including HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, and Covid. The illegal biolab also contained a freezer labeled “Ebola,” which contained unlabeled, sealed silver bags consistent with how the lab stored high risk biological materials. Ebola is a Select Agent with a lethality rate between 25-90%. The biolab contained nearly a thousand transgenic mice, genetically engineered to mimic the human immune system. Lab workers said that the mice were designed “to catch and carry the COVID-19 virus.” After local officials who discovered the lab sought help from the CDC and others, the CDC refused to test any of the samples.

Select Committee Investigates: The CCP’s Role in the Fentanyl Crisis
The volume and death tolls are staggering - in 2023 when this report was done, 200 people a day.. a day.. died from Fentanyl overdose. The report found it was costing the US 1.5 trillion USD a year in 2020! And China produces 97% of all precusors for Fentanyl production. So this effects not just the US.. but all nations suffering this.
Its stunning that people see this in the US and dont have some sort of outright hate for the CCP itself - knowing if they stopped production of this, then their children, friends and others couldnt get access to a deadly poison. Yes, there is a social and cultural issue to resolve too but this is clearly a weapon the CCP is using to kill US citizens - this is a war.
In “Unrestricted Warfare” the Chinese officers describe the use of these sorts of “weapons” as just one of many they intend to use.
Chinese Spies on US Bases
The Chinese have been using citizens as spies as well as CCP spies to access sensitive military bases in the US.

“So far in FY24, 24,376 Chinese nationals have been encountered at the Southwest border, 24,214 of them apprehended illegally crossing the border. Encounters of Chinese nationals in March 2024 increased over 8,000 percent compared to March 2021, and have surpassed all of last fiscal year––just six months into FY24”.
This is insane - and this was 3 yrs ago.

There is a much longer list here too. And again.. it really surprises me US citizens arent more angry about this - your power, water, fuel and more are all compromised, but there arent any serious ramifications taking place?
My concern is that the media, is limiting this coverage in a very compacent manner - and people are becoming numb to what is actual warfare.

There are many here.. and all over the world too. Again. Why arent citizens becoming enraged about this? Well.. its the media. These articles and news get limited attention and a small amount of investigation by smaller media outlets. The large outlets, dont really touch it, or they “convieniently” put it behind their paywalls - which is interesting when you consier the ramifications this has directly on US citizens.

Many people will think this section is absurd. But I assure you there are much darker things the CCP is doing than this and people should be outraged at all the above anyway. These abductions are something truly bizarre that its so poorly reported and they are happening all around the world.

Again, this is a large and complex operation of repression of Yughurs, Chinese nationals, Taiwan nationals and others. The fact no-one barely knows about this, is disasterous.
Insanity. Isnt it?
How can this be? How can all the above be true and people of the world not want to do anything about it or work towards pushing back against this dark tide of unethical behavior? People talk about the US being warmongering (and in some cases it is), but this is a whole larger and more long term scale with far greater effects.
What will it take for people to say enough is enough. Well, you see, this is the problem. Media. How can you know if you dont get to see it. The CCP applies this daily to its own citizens in its “locked off to the world” internet. The “Great Chinese Firewall” takes care of that.
But western media should be able to unearth and discover and expose all this? Well, yes and some have - which is what you see above. But consider the problem - Imagine if the group that doesnt want all this exposed, pays enough people in media to either promote other media and remove or reduce access to the “problem” media then no-one gets to see it, and then it “hasnt happened”.

Consider Chinas estimated to be spending up to 15 billion USD a year just on international propaganda alone. In contrast the juggernaught that is Netflix spends 2 billion USD a year. Let that sink in a bit. The CCP outspends Netflix 7 to 1 on marketing.
The western media (not all) are also complicit in this. There is clear evidence, that some of the larger groups (BBC and others) have “sponsorships” for articles and media from shell companies paid for by the CCP. I’ll do a deeper dive on that later (theres alot coming in on this).
If you want to get this sort of thing out to people - then share it. Tell people, share links, find more and share them. The power of the individual is far greater these days than you are lead to believe.
My hope, is that, one day, we will see an end to the CCP and the Chinese people will get their freedom, and choice of who leads them and how - for thousands of years since their cultural inception it has been Emperors and Elite Nobles dominating the vast and large poor masses as it is even now with the CCP. One day.. it will be better. We have to believe that.
